The Evolution Of Dating

Online dating is a new tendency in dating, which appeared along with the Internet. Starting from the 16th century, people have been trying to find the right match through matrimonial announces. The Internet diminished the frequency of matrimonial announces, since they were now made online, in a better environment.

We all know at least one married couple that first met online. Online dating will continue to thrive over years, and might eventually even become the main method of meeting people. It's just like any other online activity, growing every day, just as swing trading stocks, car auction or emailing is taking over. Surprisingly enough, matrimonial ads originate from the conservatory England of the 17th century. Once they appeared, investors started opening matrimonial agencies, which took care of finding a better half for people feeling alone, for a certain fee. And sine find a husband or wife until your kids turned 21 was no that easy, matrimonial agencies became very popular. If you were a respectable person, you would not say a word about this, this is precisely why everyone used this service but no one talked about it.

And matrimonial services were used even then, by people who had different or strange sexual orientations. The great success of gay matrimonial announces was based on total confidentiality.

Soldiers during the Second World War decided to take advantage of the matrimonial services to gain sexual favors, and this is why after the war matrimonial agencies were regarded as eccentric or even frugal. This did not stop matrimonial from living go, as they are present nowadays in newspapers, on online dating websites and in some weird TV shows. In all countries there are a couple of matchmaking shows, witch place a few people of the opposite sex in a facility for a period of time, and follow the human relations between all of them. In the end, a certain made couple will get a big price under certain conditions.

The first online dating websites were actually matrimonial websites that people could join for a fee and take part in a matchmaking process, but in time they became free services. There are still websites that act as matrimonial agents and will ask for a fee, but they all over free dating services. Because so many people use today these online dating services it's impossible to call them unconventional or shameful anymore.
