The Reason Why Men Won't Commit

By Clay Andrews

The reason why men won't commit actually stems from biological reasons rather than those social reasons so popular today.

It basically stems from human sexuality and how it functions. You see, males are capable of having children with different mates. This statement becomes even truer with the younger males. This drive would make sure that the species would continue to survive.

Having many partners mean that they will distribute their strong genes to various offspring. Women are not capable of this feat and would obviously choose to be with one man at a time. This is actually what motivates men today although most people are not aware of it.

What you should watch out for is when they grow older. The reason why men won't commit start to be negligible as they grow older. The sperm count of men would slowly decrease in number once they get over the age of 30.

The sperm itself loses some of its effectiveness. Is it surprising how they want to settle down during this time? The sex drive of men start to decrease during their thirties while women approach menopause and increase their sex drive. It's like their last ditch effort and as men become more selective, the chances of producing excellent offspring genetically increases.

Of course, other considerations must be taken into account. Their upbringing may be one of the reasons why men won't commit. There are some men who managed to control their instincts. In fact, my own dad offers the advice that men should have fun with a lot of women.

Do you know about Little Miss Sunshine? There are men who talk and brag about the women they have had relationships with. Pride and ego gets in the way and men show off each other. Of course, let's not forget one other factor - love. People usually have varying opinions about love. Sometimes, it takes meeting the right woman for men to appreciate its importance.

Then the reason behind why men won't commit slowly evaporates. Because of a specific woman, men usually find themselves wanting to be someone better. They start to find this more important than other women. It also makes sense as the population grows and the need for more capable people becomes obvious. If every person works toward self improvement then the world would ultimately benefit.
