Open Mindedness Sessions Using Astrology

By Kevin Foster

I take into account myself rational, logical, and aware sufficient to know once I'm falling short of these golden posts. I am admittedly a tiny cynical about tarot card readings and clairvoyance (although I do think you will find folks out there with strange abilities), and I wouldn't pay someone to throw runes for me, yet, I think astrology is worth a look.

I wont tell you that it's simply because it's 'scientific', but I am going to assert that it's at least a small measurable, which ways it truly is tested.

Firstly, I must establish what astrology is, and is not (and therefore what I am defending). What it is: It is (in natal chart reading) the interpretation (and interpretations are relatively set, not open to individual interpretation) with the planets as they had been at the time of the folks birth, and for that reason how that person's personality (potential) is mapped out. It is also the interpretation (again, relatively set) from the constant movement with the planets, and how they 'trigger' parts of a person's natal chart, so for that reason what influences will probably be manifesting for the person on that day / month / year.

It isn't the horoscope section on the local paper, or girly magazine.

The reason I started out to understand astrology was essentially that I couldn't consider you could divide the entire populus with the globe into 12 'categories'. The first point I learned was that you simply couldn't. You've possibly heard men and women say 'oh but my father is really a Leo, and he's Nothing like my son, who is also a Leo' (read: therefore, according to this 'evidence', astrology just isn't 'true'. To this, I bring out Five natal charts of Leos that I have, and it's promptly clear that apart inside sun sign (Leo), the charts are all completely different.

Natal charts are multi-faceted / layered concepts. The very first layer could be the signs all of the planets which rule numerous sorts of the personality) are in. In turn, each of these planets is thrown like die into some, many, or all of the 'houses' inside a person's chart. Each home 'rules' particular areas of life; a concentration of planets in 1 shows the same in life: a lot of activity or focus on that area of life. Then you've the relationship in between the planets, that is decided by the sign they fall into. This will show you internal harmony or conflict, and external harmony and conflict.

Next comes the interpretation from the relationships by the astrologer. As said above, you will discover reasonably tough and fast rules for each possible relationship. For example, a Moon (emotional nature) in Scorpio (intensity, passion, obsession) squaring (90 degrees difference among a couple of planets, an internal conflict) a Venus (love nature, expression of beauty) in Aquarius (freedom seeking, independent, anti-establishment) will probably be interpreted like a conflict among emotional requirements and adore needs. This may possibly manifest as an individual getting attracted to a person with Aquarian traits, but incredibly emotionally needing someone who will bond with them on the deepest level feasible (Scorpio). So you get a freedom junkie, simply because that may be what you are attracted to, but you luck out within the emotional department, due to the fact that person needs far more freedom than your obsessive emotional nature can give.
