Mean Guy or Nice Guy - What Gets More Dates?

By Mike Morton

You worked hard at winning over the girl of your dreams. You probably became the kindest, most sensitive, most generous guy that you knew. Now that the girl you've been dating has become your girlfriend and may even be a future wife, you have to be the best guy you could be by continuing to treat her well.

Respect continues even if you're now committed to each other. When you're with other guys talking about relationship woes, don't talk bad about your girlfriend. Tell them about her good qualities, how you shower her with compliments. No name-calling or trash talking.

When one of you feels you need to discuss something private, go to a quiet corner if you're in a public place, or wait until you're inside the house. There's nothing worse than seeing a couple fighting in public for all to hear.

A man's gaze will always wander to a hot, sexy girl, no matter if he's walking hand in hand with his girlfriend or wife. Your gaze should only be for the woman beside you. Give her your undivided attention. Make her feel she's the only woman for you.

When you're with her girlfriends, make sure you sit beside her. Don't flirt with other women like you're still unattached. Even when another woman fancies you, stand your ground. Practice loyalty! She'll love you all the more for this.

You may have showered her with compliments and gifts to prove that you really wanted her to be your girlfriend. There's no reason for you to stop now. Remember your anniversary dates and birthdays. Never fail to greet her, and never forget to buy her flowers.

Also, there's no excuse that you should forget your gentlemanly ways too, as this is probably one of the main reasons she got attracted to you. Carry her bags for her, and make opening doors a habit, and hold the umbrella for her when it rains. You'll always be her hero if you keep at it.

Good behavior doesn't stop after getting her to be your girlfriend or wife. If you strive to be good through and through, then she's lucky to have her in your life.
