Does it appear to be the guy in your relationship holds all the power? Does he make you do everything while he does anything he wants along with no say in the matter? To save your relationship you should gain power in your relationship and show him you can take control too.

You absolutely require control because if you don't your man will become used to this lifestyle of coming home ready for dinner then watching TV while not helping with anything. Many women go with this because they figure he is happy so then everything must be going well. But you must know excellent customer service and act on it.

Read about a few signs you will want to start trying to gain power in your relationship.

* You'll notice that he will start making more demands and can easily get annoyed should you not give him what he wants.

* Then he will appreciate you less for the things you do, mainly because he expects you to do them anyhow.

* Finally, he will get bored and also go out with his friends more often. This shows he is used to doing what he wants and need to panic about household chores.

These are signs you will want to gain power in your relationship. You must gain control, you will need to stick up for yourself and doing this will aid your relationship immensely. Set your boundaries and if you find something you don't feel comfortable doing, tell your partner about it. You will need to learn to be assertive and learn to say no. Once you say no, you can negotiate with him on the tasks or chores.

Couples will not always agree on every issue, but when control is a problem rise because either one of the partners cannot find a middle ground. You have to put your foot down and gain power in your relationship to let your man know that you both have to give in this relationship. This will result in a healthy, happy relationship.
