How Honey Can Make Soap

By Kate Ambers

Honey is a good material to make soap. It is a miracle for a scientist because of the complexity of the natural treatment. Bees collect flower nectar from flowers and then transfer it to the hives where the bees make magic, until they produce the thick, sweet syrup. Miracle makes honey the most famous soap materials for modern soap makers.

For many years, women use honey as soap and shampoo, because it is tested to maintain skin moisture and leaves hair shiny.

The moisturizing and healing abilities of honey are known all over the world and its chemicals is tested. Honey's humectants properties attract moisture to enter the skin and retain it there for as long as it takes. The sweet scent also adds to the wonders of this material and the high sugar keeps the soap creamy and easy to lather.

So how are soaps made using honey. Here are some tips. First is to get one bottom of a soap molded with bubble wrap. Make sure the bubbles face up. Now get another piece and put it on top of the soap. Mix and melt the honey with oil and continue with the rest of the process normally done for hot processing. Add essential oils if needed.

Pour everything into a mold and miss. Bubbles down, press the mixture gently. Put the soap to rest until the temperature lowers down. Putting it on a shaped material is a great idea, too. A bee form or a honey jar would do depending on the interest.

And that's honey soaps are made. Quite easy, right? It's actually just like making other homemade soaps, but only with the amazing ingredient honey. And because many are attracted to the practical functions of honey, surely, the honey soap will be a best-seller.
