Most people do not understand that every relationship requires time, endurance and effort to sustain. As a result, their relationships fall away. If you do not want to experience an unsuccessful relationship, you should avoid making some common mistakes you may make in a relationship.

The top reason for why a relationship fails is that couples often exhibit negative attitudes or behaviors towards each other without realizing it. Listed below are 5 fetal mistakes that you should try to avoid in a relationship.

1) Loose Ends. You should make sure you have already ended your previous relationship before you start a new one. It is because it will be unhealthy for a new relationship to start if you are troubled by the unresolved issues with your past. This will make your new partner suspicious, insecure and doubtful. Most of all, it will also hurt you. A solid foundation is always needed in a new relationship.

2) Saying "I love you" soon. It is not necessary to say this magic words too early in a relationship, as it will create loophole and lead to heartbreak very soon. So, you should observe more, and wait for a good sign to declare your love openly.

3) Getting jealous too easily. It is normal to be jealous because it is also a way to show your love. But too much jealousy is not healthy to a relationship. It will damage the trust you build with your partner and can reduce intimacy.

4) Cheating on your partner. If you think you are serious about the relationship, then never try to cheat. If you can't control yourself well, then you better just engage in some casual relationships and always let your partner know clearly what you actually want.

5) Not letting go. It maybe hard for us to forgive others. However, you should prepare yourself to learn letting go. Don't dwell and stay mad, or even nourish injuries, try to forgive.
