Lobster Salad Roll - Ultimate Yummy Sandwich Recipe

The New England sandwich that will delight everyone. It can be meat shucked lobster and fresh or frozen to save time and effort. For the purists will have to devote time to 10 pounds of steam the lobster for two pounds of meat. I find steamed lobster much better tasting than boiled. The meat is more delicate when steamed. I like my lobster roll in a soft finger roll, but can also roll the butter and grilled hot dog or use a croissant.

Lobster Salad

2 pounds of lobster meat coarsely chopped (10 lb lobster steamed produce 2 pounds of meat)

1 cup chopped celery (stalks 3-4)

3/4-1cup Hellman Mayonnaise

1 / 2 tsp. Salt

1 / 4 tsp. black pepper

Lettuce

Paprika

The fingers of Rolls 15-20

Chop the celery and wrap in a clean and dry. Put in refrigerator to absorb excess water for 15-20 minutes. You do not want watery lobster salad!

Gently stir the lobster, celery, mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper. Cool 30 minutes during the night.
Build your sandwich with a base of shredded lettuce (can be omitted), add lobster mix then if you want a light dash of paprika. Number of snack depends on how high to fill with the lobster salad.

This is a big YUM with crowds. Whenever delighted when you tell people they are serving lobster rolls! Now if you are lucky enough to live near the lobster fishing areas - try to buy directly from fishermen as possible. They work very hard for a living and deserve every penny.
