The Otterbox for Samsung Captivate has now joined the list of stylish and rugged Otterbox protective clothing designed specifically for Samsung devices. Otterbox has three styles of Captivate cases: the Defender Series, the Commuter Series, and the Impact Series. All three have protective layers to keep the mobile phone is damaged in the event of a drop, bump or other mishap that hand-held devices often happen. They also keep dust and scratches to a minimum. While all three styles of Otterbox adapted to Captivate model, they are not exactly the same.
The Defender Series is built to be rugged and durable. An outside person or construction worker would be well suited for this series, like a fireman, policeman or military member. Defender has three layers of protection: a waterproof outer layer of silicon, a hard polycarbonate shell and a shock-absorbing inner core. Defender also has a belt clip and screen protector built into the housing. With more features and the level of protection, this series is the more expensive of the three cases for Samsung Captivate.
The moderately priced Commuter is more streamlined than the Defender. It is double layered, to give it a slimmer profile. As the defender, a silicon Commuter sports more than polycarbonate. This makes it possible to more easily fit into a pocket or purse without adding too much bulk. While more lightweight, this event promises to continue to protect it from everyday abuse most phones come. As its name suggests, it would stand up for the Commuter train daily while watching fantastic. The Commuter comes with a plastic screen guard, as well. While still a difficult matter, it is also slim and elegant. This jacket is probably perfect for managers and office staff, and anyone who does not participate in the extremely rugged activities.
Impact Series is the least expensive of the three and offers a more basic protection. The corners and back of the sheath have the same padding as the Defender and the Commuter, and also the silicon skin. This case is enough to finish the Captivate handset from scratches and other mars monitor and provides a bit of the buffer if the phone is bumped or dropped. Impact is a good option for people who work at a desk, students and busy moms on the go. The Impact is affordable for everyone, and it's still an attractive and durable guard.
It is logical that if one wants to buy Samsung Captivate they would buy other Samsung Captivate accessories. One good thing is not really an option when it comes to protecting your investment. All three choices are relatively affordable and designed for a multitude of users to adapt. OtterBox is known for high quality products, and this new line should be no exception. After spending the money on a high quality mobile device, it is useful to look at the Otterbox for Samsung Captivate.
